Male Massage Therapist

I realize that I am going to get some freaky search hits because of this title, but it's something I wanted to talk about. Some of you may know that James is a massage therapist. He is very good at it and has worked on patients from around the world (Argentine Rugby Team: The Pumas, South Korean pastor, tennis stars...and the list goes on.)

James specializes in medical, or sports, massage. Men are inherently better at this type of massage because of the strength needed to really work with sore athletic muscles. It has recently come to my attention that many male athletes don't want a man working with them. They want a young woman. It's kind of frustrating because this is how we pay the bills. (Blogging doesn't pay the mortgage...I'll tell you that much!)

If you don't mind, pop up to the top of this page and take my little survey. If you would like, leave a comment as to how you feel concerning this issue. Just something I'm thinking about today...

Research on acorns and winters

I love old wive's tales and farmer knowledge regarding the seasons. With the veritable rainfall of acorns in our yard, I thought I would do a bit of research concerning the old tale of acorns and wintertime. To my surprise, I found that many areas around the country are experiencing this same abundance of acorns.

How about you? Have you ever heard stories of the amount of acorns falling predicting the weather in any way? Do me a favor and vote above. I would love to hear what my readers think. If you have any comments or suggestions to improve the poll, please leave it in the comment box. I look forward to hearing from you all!
