Ending the Hiatus

After several weeks' absence from the Make It From Scratch action, I got my act together enough to submit an entry this week. Where did MIFS begin? I'm proud to say, I remember the introductory carnival. This is an event/carnival that has grown tremendously in the last year. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, the MIFS carnival was begun by Stephanie as a way to highlight frugal ways to make your own items. Homemade cookies, compost bins, rabbit hutches, purses, financial plans, gardens, shoes and hair curlers: it's all fair game.
