Flat Haley

My friend J----- and I went on a Flat Haley field trip today. J----'s niece sent her a Flat Haley and so we went to the Naval Base to take pictures. I'm sure no other child will have such fun shots as these. On a more somber note, today was my first day to visit the Naval Air Museum. I have lived in Pensacola for 7 1/2 years without ever visiting. Shame, shame on me. I was in awe at the exhibits. And the volunteers--more WW2 vets than you can shake a stick at. It was wonderful!

Flat Haley at the beach
Lighthouse on the base
Moon landing exhibit, duh...
mmm...can't remember what plane this is...
Mr. Hoppy Hopkins with Flat Haley--this was in the HomeFront Exhibit--my favorite part, of course. Showed Pensacola as it was during the war...

You'll have to apprise me on just what a Flat Haley is. I have never heard of this before! Looks like a lot of fun though :)

Flat Haley certainly has had a busy time visiting interesting places. The Naval Air Museum would make for a fascinating visit.
