I know that some very wise, courteous, helpful and extremely good-looking folks read this blog. Armed with this knowledge, I am sending out a plea for help. I am trying to transfer my domain name to a new server. I really have no idea how to go about doing this...
Can anyone help me? What I want is the ability to design my pages, room for lots of photos of merchandise, storefront capability, shopping cart and whatever else I truly need. I don't want lots of fancy stuff because I'm still just starting out.
So, anyone willing to give me some advice? Point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance...

Sorry no help here. I was just thinking of moving my blog to my own domain name though.
I'm a web developer and visited your blog for the first time today. I saw this post and thought, "Wow, it must be fate!"
I send most of my customers to HostMySite. I wrote about my reasons for recommending them here. Their prices have gone up since I wrote that post but their service is still great. I'd give them a call and see if you think it's a good fit.
