I hope 88 degrees Farenheit sounds hot and not just warm. 'Cause it's hot! My squash and peppers are wilted. What? I guess that's the price I pay for early bounty, eh? So thirsty...must drink water.

88 is hot! It was 88 here in Missouri yesterday. The news people were saying it was "nice". Right.
Of course, the heat after our big rains made everything grow so fast you could hear it squeak! Okay, not really, but close.
Your veggies look great, but I understand the wilting remark. I wilted in FL for 50 years, finally escaped to WA. Hope your weather cools a bit before summer - for you and your veggies.
