Made from scratch!

I have been wanting to enter the made from scratch carnival for a while now, so here is my first submission:

Nursing pads! TA-DA! No, they're not for me but for my little sis. I have been threatening to make some for her and finally made five pair. 3 are solid flannel with quilt batting. 1 is flannel/print with quilt batting and one pair is suede/flannel with rice/lavender filling for soreness.

Without further ado, here they are...

That is a good idea. Glad to have you join us for Make it From Scratch.

Well shoot Becca! I even like how you made them pretty and all :-)

I would commission you to make some for me, but seeing as how I am trying to wean this 20-month-old child of mine, I guess I shouldn't invest in anymore nursing pads. LOL!

Oh, I could have REALLY used those rice filled ones. Dd weaned herself in August. The rice is to heat up, right?

Wow! Thanks everybody. I love the affirmation. Hope Micah thinks the pads are great as well...

Oh my gosh! I would have given anything to have had those when I was nursing! I leaked sooo bad... that I was always 'washing and wearing' constantly! Man, I never even thought of making my own!
You are too clever girl!

My wife and I are about to have our first child in five more weeks.

We are having a boy and I could not be happier.

We could certainly use some of these...
