Oh my goodness! And to think of all the different machines that are available today - we are truly spoiled, aren't we. (I really LOVE the pink!!).
Wish I could help you out with your other machine :-(
Me too! Cutest pink machine ever!
Hey, my machine did not die... it's back to working! YAH! Have a fun weekend Becca!
I googled "pink sewing machine" and landed up here! I may have to come back. It seems that we have a few things in common...
I have a pink Atlas with 1981 date. Can anyone tell me how I can find out what it's worth? It's just sitting in my garage and I want to sell it.
I guess I'm a little late with my comment, just found this site. I bought my little pink Atlas (first large purchase, $500.00, after I married in 1959. It has helped earn my living for close to 50 years now. Needs a little tention work but far from dead. Anyone wanting to sell theirs let me know. Janet Porter
I have one of these pink cuties ... Does anyone know how I can determine it's age and worth? I have looked for a date on the machine itself but cannot find one. Any help would be most appreciated.

hi all, my best guess on finding the value of your machine is to search for what they're selling for on ebay or other such sites. the markets probably differ according to your area. In all honesty, most vintage to antique machines don't sell for much at all (in my experience). I guess most folks just don't appreciate good quality when they see it!
I also own a pink Atlas and a pink Monarch. They were made in the mid 50's or so and are japanese made. They are also known as "Badged" machines. They are not worth alot, just what someone is willing to pay for them. Pink tends to fetch good prices because its pink! lol I paid around 100.oo for my Atlas because she came with everything but my pink Monarch was 25.00 and that included the sewing table.
Cheers!
i need info on atlas machine
I have a pink atlas sewing machine also, I thought mine was more darker peach, but it's probably pink as Im a little colored blind it's kinda hard to tell. anyways...it's for sale to a good home of course (don't destroy for body parts)

I have a pink or peachy pink atlas sewing machine that I want to sell. I hate to give it to goodwill or throw it out, I dont need it.I'm sure somone else can use it. it works just needs a little love and tender care...and maybe a job to keep her busy.
That's my sewing machine. I bought it at the Aloha Stadium swap meet in 1986 for $25. My cousin was scandalized that I talked em down from $40. It works, but skips a stitch now and then. It probably was due for a tune up 20 years ago. The case has disintegrated, though, and the one size fits all white case is an insult to a fine lady like the pink machine.
I have a pink Atlas. It was my great-grandmother's. It works great but the motor belt has broken and I can't find where I can buy a new one.
Hi Charlotte, I'm not sure how to get back to you but check out this website:

We have a pink Atlas Sewing Machine that my dad bought for my mom in 1961. My mom used it and my wife has been using it for the last 32 years. It survived Katrina flood, but she is looking for zig zag plate, any ideas where to find one
I just picked up a pink atlas machine at an auction. The pink color also was the attraction. Needs some work any suggestions or interest in purchasing? Cheryl
Arthur, not sure on finding your part, but check out this link:

Also check on eBay or etsy for people selling these parts.
Cheryl, at its best, the Atlas are only work what someone will pay for them! If you can fix it yourself (or know someone who knows how) you will do much better than taking it to a repair shop. I once paid 12 dollars for a machine and then 80 dollars to have its kinks repaired. Never again!
Good luck with your machine!
My husband bought my little pink Atlas sewing machine in 1966, used. I'm still using it today. I love it...
I found your post...kind of an odd way to find it. Last week a friend of my family gave me a pink Atlas. Our friend is dying of cancer so the machine may "not be worth much" but it's priceless to me. THe belt is worn but it appears that our friend got it to run on a regular belt...it runs like a new machine and is very clean! :)
